Einstein believed that special relativity theory gives full and consistent explanation of the kinematic of acce- lerating bodies by neglecting gravitation. Same is at Classical understanding of the matter. Is that true or false ?
How than speed of light is slowing down in a gravitation field and violates the postulate that the speed of light is constant. But the constancy of the speed of light in special relativity and general relativity should be equal.
But one of the predictions of general relativity is that the speed of light is slowed in a gravitational field. That can not be explained other way existence or coexistence of other matter.
So somehow is violated the postulate that the speed of light is constant! in special relativity.
Why Einstein proved than rethink and rejected validity of his theory of gravitation fields ? Why he believed is true,later that is false? Did he found a conflict with the general theory.
